FOUND!
With a top that's only slightly warped and worn, it's obvious why I found this by the trash bin.The 70s avocado topcoat withdrew enough to reveal a vibrant gold underneath, and one foot seems a little bit small in comparison to the rest. Sure, there's a crack moving up the side, but none of these characteristics make the pedestal seem any less stable.
A quick sand/oil/paint, and this old boy is on its way towards a fresh new look.
